What if it has no meaning?

What if it has no meaning?

I believe we were put on this earth for a reason. There’s something deeply comforting about the idea that we have a purpose, a calling to fulfill.

But what if this isn’t the case? What if we evolved from apes, and the development of our consciousness was simply a fortunate accident in the vast, unpredictable process of evolution?

Even then, the fact that we are here, alive and aware, is remarkable.

Our purpose might simply be to live fully, to experience all that life has to offer, and to honor the struggles and triumphs of our ancestors that brought us here.

In this sense, life becomes a celebration of existence itself, a celebration of survival, growth, and the incredible gift of consciousness.

Even without a grand cosmic reason, the mere fact of being conscious and capable of experiencing the world is enough to find meaning in every moment.

This reflection comes after my jeddo’s church mass for his two-week passing. I love you my jeddo.

I hope to honor your memory by living as beautifully as you did. Thank you for being a part of my purpose.
